HiSST 2027 – The 5th International Conference on High-Speed Vehicle Science and Technology

We’re delighted to announce the call of abstract for the upcoming 5 th HiSST conference, taking place in Beijing from 23 rd to 28 th May 2027. The conference is hosted by the Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and co-organised by the Chinese Society of Astronautics (CSA) and the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (CSTAM).

This collaboration is based on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which CEAS and CSA signed back in 2007 and in which, amongst other things, fostering the organization of joint conferences.

HiSST Legacy:
The preceding HiSST conferences took place in different regions around the world,
stimulating global involvement and establishing an inter-continental network of experts
among the various topics supported by HiSST:

• 1st HiSST conference: Moscow, Russia – November 26-29 – organized by TsAGI
• 2nd HiSST Conference: Bruges, Belgium – September 11-15 – organized by ESA-ESTEC
• 3rd HiSST Conference: Busan, Korea – April 14-19, 20204 – organized by Pusan National University
• 4th HiSST Conference: Tours, France – September 22-26. 2025 – organized by MBDA & ONERA
• 5th HiSST Conference: Beijing, China – May 23-28. 2027 – organized by CAS
