HiSST Scientific Committee:

The main goal of the HiSST Scientific Committee is to assure a direct link towards the HiSST Community and allowing quick interaction and dissemination of HiSST related matters. The Scientific Committee shall consist of members from various nations around the globe and assist the HiSST Technical Committee in assuring quality and attractiveness of HiSST related matters.

Elected members of the HiSST-SC commit themselves to the following points:  

• Support the HiSST-TC members by representatives of various entities within their region.
• Promote HiSST events (LinkedIn, email signature….), stimulation of abstract submission
• Provide suggestions for key-note speakers and/or lecture topics, items for workshops…
• Commit acting as Session Chair for HiSST events.
• Assist in the review process of articles for the HiSST Special Issue of the CEAS Space Journal

Members’ criteria:

• Established experience in at least in one of the topics covered by HiSST
• Employed at an aerospace industry, a research entity or a university covering one or more topics covered by HiSST
• Motivated to promote HiSST within their network and to participate in HiSST events or participated to past HiSST events
• Acting as a HiSST ambassador

• guidance, navigation, and control
